Weddings are kind of a big deal, so let's hear some of your FAQs!

What if it rains?

I always discuss alternate arrangements before each wedding so that If you are

unfortunate enough to have heavy rain on your wedding day, then we will have

group photographs and couple portraits indoors. If you’re determined to have

some portraits outdoors then we can always use sheltered areas or umbrellas as

a last resort. I can also try to sneak you outside for 15 minutes after the wedding

breakfast before the sun goes down (Golden Hour is my fave!).

I hate being photographed!

Ok so not really a question but I hear this a lot! Do not panic! I take a really relaxed approach and ease you into the day starting with some natural getting ready shots. I'll give you a few pointers if you are struggling, but as long as you keep smiling, so will I! By the time the ceremony begins, you'll have more important things to worry about than me. Trust me, you'll look great.

If you would like a practice run however, I offer an engagement shoot in a location of your choice.

How many photographers are there?

I am the main photographer, but if you would like a second shooter then one will be arranged. I would always recommend a second shooter if you would like shots from a different perspective ie from the back of the ceremony. Also a second photographer will guarantee groom prep.

Do you photograph me getting ready if I'm at a different location?

Yes, a lot of my brides prefer to get ready at home or in a different location, this travel is included in all of my packages. I can't always guarantee that I will capture the groom getting ready due to time constraints and logistics, to guarantee these shots I would recommend a second shooter.

Do you visit the venue before?

If it's my first time shooting at your venue then I will usually arrange to visit the venue as close to your date as possible, this enables me to scout out the best locations and review the lighting. If possible, I like to meet the couple at the venue for a coffee so that we can go over any last minute arrangements. If the venue isn't local then this is usually done in the morning before the ceremony.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, I require a 25% deposit in order to book your date. The remainder of your balance is due

no later than 8 weeks before your wedding day.

Can I bring my dogs for portraits?

Ok so I'll admit this doesn't get asked that often but it has done once or twice.

Well behaved dogs can make the most adorable shots, however please proceed with caution.

If you are planning on bringing your pooch along I would recommend spending 10 minutes at

the end of your portrait session. You don’t want paw prints all over your dress!

(Don't worry, this dog's butt didn't make the final cut!)
